Mercy Ministry

God's Kitchen

Our church financially supports and gathers donations for this local ministry to those in material need. The first Sunday of each month we have designated as "Others First on the First" to emphasize bringing canned food items for God's Kitchen's food closet available to hungry families and individuals. They also deliver meals daily to those in need. A shelter has been built to house those needing a place to stay, and a thrift store has been established to sell different items at discount prices. God's Kitchen is located at Old North Main St. and Rev. Sam Thompson serves as its director.  If you need assistance with food or shelter, you can reach them at 803-222-0711, or visit them at 708 Old North Main St.

Clover Area Assistance Center

We support this local ministry that seeks to offer not only financial assistance but also training and classes to help people better handle money and get back on their feet financially.  If you need financial assistance you can call them at 803-222-4837 or visit them at 1130 Hwy 55 East.

Crisis Pregnancy Center (Gastonia & Rock Hill)

We strongly support the rights and protection of unborn children in our world. We work alongside two local CPC chapters to collect maternity and baby clothes, as well as diapers and other pregnancy items to help assist girls who find themselves pregnant in a difficult situation. One of our members is volunteers with this ministry at the Lake Wylie branch. We are glad to support this ministry both prayerfully and financially.  For more information to volunteer or if you need assistance please visit either cpcgaston.net or palmettopregnancycenter.com

Operation Christmas Child

This is an opportunity for our children to serve other children in need all over the world. Through our church's children packing shoe boxes with necessity and toy donations, children all around the world receive a gift for Christmas who would almost certainly have been given nothing at all. This ministry is sponsored by Samaritan's Purse directed by Rev. Franklin Graham.
